This is precisely what you will find on Fuerteventura, a perfect destination for those who seek to relax and break the routine. Besides, we have some good news: it won't cost you much at all! We’ll give you all the tricks to enjoy a cheap 3-day tour of Fuerteventura.
DAY 1
The first thing you have to do is to go to the car rental at Fuerteventura airport. Here, Payless has at your disposal your own means of transport. Once you have finished this procedure, you can go to Puerto del Rosario to fill your stomach. There you will find several bars and restaurants that offer good food portions for very little money. Our recommendation: a bocadillo de vuelta (beef sandwich) and a tapa of papas arrugadas (Canarian wrinkly potatoes). Then head north to visit las Dunas de Corralejo, one of the most beautiful beaches in this archipelago. There you can play in the waves, sunbathe and take a long walk without spending money. Finally, head towards the homonymous village to stay in one of its hostels and have some tapas in front of the sea for dinner.
DAY 2
Have a leche y leche (typical Canarian latte with condensed milk) and a jam and cheese sandwich for breakfast and boost your energy. Now you can get into your rental car in Fuerteventura and head for your next destination: El Cotillo. This small town has beautiful beaches and coves where you can practice snorkeling and relax as much as you want. Come to the supermarket and buy a small snack to satisfy your hunger at noon. For example, a majorero cheese and mojo olives are the best examples of tasting local products and enjoying a delicious and nutritious lunch. Afterwards, move towards La Oliva and continue to Tindaya, one of the most important natural monuments on the island due to its historical value. Finish the day with some sea bathing and return to your hostel with the feeling of fulfillment.
DAY 3
The last day on the island can be spent exploring the south. Get in your rental car in Fuerteventura and take the FV-2 to Morrojable. Take a break in Caleta de Fuste and visit the Salinas del Carmen and the castle that is located in this picturesque and touristic village. Continue the route and stop at all the beaches along the way: Sotavento, Jandía, Costa Calma… they are perfect for enjoying a quiet environment. Once you arrive in Morrojable, you can take a stroll around its tourist area to see some shops and, finally, have dinner at Cofradía de Pescadores, where you will be served a fresh and delicious fish that will put a perfect end to your vacation.
